23-year-old Ms Harnaam Kaur’s problems began after she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, a condition that causes excess hair growth. As a result, she endured years of cruel taunts about her looks and spent thousands of
pounds desperately trying to get rid of her beard.
But after converting to Sikhism, a religion that forbids cutting hair, she decided to embrace her looks and allowed her beard to grow. She said: “At the end of the day, I love myself and the way that I’m formed. Going through primary and secondary school with the facial hair, kids can be nasty. It led me to self harm and wanting to take my own life.”
She was a split second away from taking an overdose with a handful of tablets when she decided to channel her negative energy into something more positive.
She still looks good though, what do you think?
Hmmm this one look's like alhaji to me,abomination.
