A student high on miaow miaow has been jailed for 16 months after he stabbed his own mother 11 times.
Charles Mann, 21, attacked Emma Mann then chopped his own penis after drinking copious amounts of alcohol and taking the drug.
Mrs Man was in court to support her son and mouthed the words ‘I love you’ as he entered the dock.
She called 999 following the attack at 6.20am saying: ‘My son’s just attacked me and stabbed me and he’s going mental downstairs with the knives.’
She said the incident had taken place in the kitchen at their home in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, but she had managed to get away, locking herself in the bathroom.
When police arrived he tried to get out through a window but eventually told them: ‘I have stabbed her multiple times, I have killed her. I have stabbed my mum and I need to be punished for what I have done.’
He told them he had taken ‘loads of lines’ of miaow miaow’ and prosecutors described him as looking ‘manic and deranged’.
