A teenager’s anger left his brother dead and his parents hospitalized.

Police said that a family home in Henan, China, was set on fire by a 17-year-old boy.

The couple’s 4-year-old son died and the parents were hospitalized. They are said to be in critical condition.

The cause of the fatal fire has been revealed to be the work of their oldest son. Police said that he started the fire after being scolded by his father for spending too much time at an Internet cafe playing video games.
The fire started in the family home around 5:00 a.m., when the parents, who are 40 years old, and their younger son slept.

The apartment was housed in the same building as a furniture store, and therefore, the large amount of wood fueled the flames, which quickly spread throughout the building and prevented the family from escaping the fire.

Fire authorities at the scene managed to extinguish the fire and rescue the parents. However, their 4-year-old child was not breathing when he was removed from the burning house.

The parents were immediately taken to a hospital and placed in intensive care for treatment of severe injuries.

Doctors are not very optimistic about their chances of survival.

During the fire, neighbors told police that the family had 2 sons, so firefighters went inside to search for the missing teenager.

Authorities discovered the 17-year-old boy at an Internet cafe, where neighbors said that he often likes to visit.

When police informed the teenager that this house burned down, he allegedly replied: “I know, I started the fire.”

Police demanded to know why he set his own house on fire, and the teen responded that it was retaliation against his father, who had earlier admonished him for spending too much time playing computer games in the Internet cafe.

The boy explained how he had started the fire in his own room before heading out to the cafe to play video games.

However, the teen was devastated when he learned that his brother died as a result of his actions.

The teenager told police that he “never intended to harm his family.”

The teenager now faces a host of charges
