Former New Orleans Saints player Will Smith was shot dead yesterday April 9. Hours before the shooting, Smith tweeted that he was "having a blast" Saturday night at the French Quarter Fest, an annual event in the famed New Orleans district.
He was shot dead over a small issue with another driver on the road, his wife was injured in the attack. He was just 34.
