An evil woman is dead after eating poisoned soup that she planned to give to her husband, police in Nigeria said.
Delta State Police said that the woman identified as Egwoli, was frustrated that her husband was sleeping around with other women.
The woman went to a herbalist, who gave her a potion that would draw back her husband. The woman prepared a soup with the potion, which she planned on giving to her husband.
Later in the evening, when her husband did not return home, the woman decided to eat the soup. After eating the soup, the woman went to bed.
She did not get up the next morning.
The husband told investigators that he stopped having sex with his wife because she had a bad odor and couldn’t stand being near her.
Police launched an investigation into the incident, but so far, the herbalist has not been charged.
