Rumor has it that the former President of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan has placed himself on exile in Cote D'ivoire. He took this step following rumors that he would be arrested by the EFCC ones he steps foot in Nigeria.
Jonathan has been accused of embezzlement, money laundering and diversion of National funds to private swiss accounts. Rumor also has it that some of his associates during his tenure as president have also been arrested in relations to the same charges.
Jonathan left Nigeria to the Us about 2 months ago and just last week he retreated to Cote D'Ivoire where he went to seek refuge with the president who welcomed him.
If you guys recollect, Buhari promised Jonathan that he has nothing to fear after handing over in May 29, 2015. Well it seems Buhari played a fast one on him just to ensure peace during his swearing in!
