Woman striped naked and beaten to death after stealing baby from park!

A woman was beaten to death after she was caught stealing a baby in a park while the boy’s mother was playing with her other children, police in Nigeria said.

Imo State Police said that the 50-year-old woman identified as Chioma, was detained by an angry mob on Tuesday, stripped and beaten to death.


The incident unfolded in the Ogugba Park, which is located in Owerri.

After being detained by the angry mob, the woman confess to her crime, but she was beaten to death before police arrived at the scene.

According to the police investigation, the mother of the baby boy put him down on the grass while playing with her other children.

Chioma approached and snatched the child. As she was running away from the park, she was stopped by the mob.

The mother of the child was visibly shaken by the incident, and thanked the crowd for saving her and her family from the terror of dealing with a missing child.
